Susie Baird is orginally from Western Nebraska, but moved to Granby earlier this year from Alaska. In AK she was the assistant director for a rural campus of the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Susie will be working out of the Granby Office and looks forward to continuing the good work that characterizes GFPC.

Matt Beckett has been with Grand Futures since July 2008. A 1992 graduate from Moffat County High School who had personal battles with drugs and alcohol. Beckett overcame his addictions and has been sober since 2002. He was a member of Moffat County advisory board during many years of his sobriety. He credits his personal success in recovery to the time he spent on that board and focusing on the drug and alcohol issues in Moffat County. Prior to joining Grand Futures, Matt studied Graphic Design at Platte College in Denver, Colorado and worked for a local sign shop before purchasing the business in 2004 and also serves as a volunteer firefighter with Craig Fire/Rescue.
Matt is married to Stephanie and has two young children, Hunter and Holden. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and serving his community with the fire department.

Katie is the newest member to the Grand Futures Family. She earned a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver while living and working in Winter Park and was accepted to law school but decided she wanted to get out in the world and make a difference. She also earned a degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from Texas Tech University. Katie has a passion for working with young people in a way that betters their futures and has proved her commitment to making a difference in the world through her long list of volunteer and community service.
In her spare time Katie enjoys skiing, hiking, running, cooking and spending time with friends and her dog Lola.

Kate has been with Grand Futures since November 2010 and is beginning a new direction in her career. Prior to her position at Grand Futures, Kate worked in the hospitality industry in many different and challenging roles. She holds a B.S. in Hospitality Administration at Boston University, where she also worked as a Resident Assistant in upper-classman housing. As a student, Kate was constantly involved in her community, working with her local DARE program and a Teen Health Advocacy program. She has recently started to volunteer as a mentor to youth through Partners of Routt County. Kate also sits on the steering committee for the Routt County Bridges Initiative, which aims to reduce generational poverty in RC.
Kate has lived in Steamboat Springs since July 2008 and spends time hiking, skiing, crafting and blogging. Kate and her husband, Matt, have recently rescued an amazing dog named Ella, whom they love to spend time with too!

Karin is the Bookkeeper for Grand Futures Prevention Coalition. She handles all accounts payable, receivable, payroll taxes, and grant reimbursements.
Karin has been an independent bookkeeper for five years and has several clients in Steamboat Springs, including several non-profit organizations such as Partners of Routt County and Rocky Mountain Youth Corps. Karin gained her B.S. in Business from New Hampshire College.
