Social Host Ordinance

This page contains information gathered by the Excellence Project - a community collaboration working towards the continual reduction of underage drinking and illegal substance abuse - that pertains to support for adoption of a Social Host Ordinance (SHO) in Steamboat Springs.

The Steamboat Springs City Council passed the Social Host Ordinance at their May 5, 2009 meeting. Much work aimed at advertising the new Ordinance will occur soon so the Ordinance can be enforced prior to the end of May.  For more information, contact Dervla Lacy – Routt County Director of Grand Futures Prevention Coalition, at (970) 879-6188.
