Two of the most important laws regarding youth and alcohol are Minor In Possession, and Selling, Serving or Giving Alcohol to Minors.
Minor In Possession
It is illegal for an underage person to possess or consume alcohol. Possession means that a person has any amount of alcohol anywhere on his or her person or has alcohol within his or her immediate presence and control. Illegal possession or consumption of alcohol by an underage person is a strict liability offense. (18-13-122 Illegal possession or consumption of ethyl alcohol by an underage person)
